Each CVS gift card is unique. The cards can be gifted for holidays or important events in your life, and the amount of balance can be different. You can check the balance or transactions (purchase history) in several ways: check on the website, at the pharmacy or by calling the hotline.

Important! It is not possible to add funds to the gift card after it has been released.

Checking Gift Card Balance on Site



  1. Go online from any device (preferably with a good network speed). Go to cvs.com/gift-cards and click «Check Your Balance» or go directly to giftcardorder.net/balance .
  2. The List of Activities For a CVS Pharmacy Gift Card (Specify Card, Review Transactions) will open. Click «Start Over».

  3. Boxes must be filled in for verification:
    • Card Number. Here enter a 16-digit number which can be found under «Barcode» or «Magnetic Stripe» (may vary depending on the card type/type).
    • Access Code. This is either a 3-digit number or a 4, 5, 6 digit number within a scratch-off area on the card.
  4. After you filled in the fields, you have to put a checkmark in the Captcha, images will appear and the system will ask you to choose the appropriate images for the request.
  5. After you have completed all fields correctly, click on «Get Card History», you will see the balance of the card.

Note: If you use this method you will also get Transaction History.



Checking at Pharmacy | by Phone

Another option is to go to a CVS store or pharmacy. If you don't want to go out or just don't have time, you can call technical support.



  • You can ask the employee at the cash desk or special counter and make a request to check the amount of money. It takes a few seconds to scan the card.
  • If the employee at the cash desk is busy, then you can call the CVS hotline at 1-800-746-7287. You need to tell the operator your card information.
